About

An IT company built around documentation

Anraed Pty Ltd is an Australian registered company working with small organisations in Western Australia on the systems they cannot afford to have down.

Who we are

A local provider, not a call centre

Anraed works with the kind of business that has somewhere between a handful and a few dozen staff: a trade office, a clinic, a warehouse, a professional practice. Enough technology to matter, not enough to justify hiring someone full time to look after it.

The company is based in Western Australia and registered under ACN 700 017 081. That matters for the practical parts of the job — running a cable, replacing a failed switch, or standing in the comms cupboard working out why the far end of the building drops off the Wi-Fi every afternoon.

We are deliberately a small operation. The trade-off is that we take on fewer clients and know each of their environments properly, rather than triaging tickets from a queue for organisations we have never visited.

How we prefer to work

  • Every environment documented — diagram, asset register, account inventory — and yours to keep
  • Quotes in writing before work starts, with exclusions stated rather than implied
  • Licences and subscriptions bought in your own name, under your own billing
  • Administrator credentials held by you, not locked inside a provider portal
  • Plain explanations of what failed and why, in language you can repeat to your staff
Principles

Three things we hold to

They are unglamorous, and they are the reason most of our work is quiet.

Write it down

An undocumented network is a network only one person can fix. Everything we touch gets recorded, so the knowledge stays with your business rather than in someone's head.

Test the backup

A backup that has never been restored is a hypothesis. We check restores on a schedule, because the day you need one is the worst possible day to find out it was failing.

No lock-in

Your domain, your tenancy, your licences, your admin accounts. If you decide to work with someone else, the handover is a document, not a negotiation.

Coverage

Where we work

Remote support reaches anywhere in Australia. On-site attendance is arranged around Perth and the surrounding Western Australian corridor, scheduled in advance rather than promised on demand.

  1. 01 / Remote

    Screen sharing and monitoring

Most day-to-day faults — accounts, mailboxes, printers, software — are resolved without anyone leaving their desk.

  2. 02 / On site

    Cabling and hardware

Anything physical: access point placement, switch and router installation, device replacement and comms room tidy-ups.

  3. 03 / Projects

    Migrations and fit-outs

New premises, a move to cloud file storage, or a server retired. Planned, staged and run outside trading hours.

  4. 04 / Handover

    Documentation pack

At the close of any project you receive the diagram, the asset list and the credentials, in a form your accountant can file.
