Services

Six areas of work

Take one, take all of them, or fold the lot into a monthly managed agreement. Each is scoped and quoted in writing before anything starts.

What we do

The work, in detail

Nothing here requires a server room or an enterprise budget. It is the ordinary technology a small Western Australian business runs on, maintained properly.

Managed IT support

The day-to-day: staff who cannot print, a laptop that will not wake, a mailbox that has stopped syncing. Handled remotely where possible, on site where it is not.

  • Help for staff by email, with a record kept against your environment
  • Operating system and application patching in an agreed window
  • Monitoring of disk health, updates and endpoint protection status
  • Starter and leaver processing — accounts created, devices wiped

Networks and Wi-Fi

Coverage that holds up in a tin-roofed workshop, a double-brick office or across a yard. Designed from the floor plan, then verified by walking it.

  • Cabling layout, patching and comms cupboard tidy-ups
  • Router, firewall and managed switch configuration
  • Access point placement and channel planning, checked on site
  • Separate guest and staff networks, and remote access for staff off site

Cloud and Microsoft 365

Getting email and files off an ageing office server and into a tenancy you own, with sharing settings staff can use without accidentally publishing the payroll.

  • Mailbox and file migrations, staged so nothing is lost in transit
  • Shared document libraries structured around how your team actually files
  • Licence review — removing seats you stopped using
  • Tenancy owned and billed in your company name, not ours

Backup and recovery

A backup nobody has ever restored from is a guess. We set up copies that leave the building and then prove, on a schedule, that they come back.

  • Off-site copies of file storage, mailboxes and cloud data
  • Periodic test restores, with the result reported to you in writing
  • A written recovery order — what comes back first, and who calls whom
  • Retention set deliberately, not left on whatever the software shipped with

Security essentials

The unexciting controls that stop the common problems: multi-factor authentication, patched machines, and staff who recognise an invoice-redirection email.

  • Multi-factor authentication rolled out across email and admin accounts
  • Endpoint protection deployed, with alerts going somewhere a human reads
  • Permission review — who can reach which files, and why
  • Short staff briefings on phishing and payment-redirection scams

Hardware and setup

Specifying, ordering and preparing machines so a new starter sits down to a device that already has their accounts, files and printers on it.

  • Specification advice matched to the work, not the sales sheet
  • Devices imaged and configured before they reach the desk
  • Printer, scanner and peripheral setup across the office
  • Secure data wipe and disposal of retired equipment
Engagement

Three ways to work with us

There is no single right arrangement. A business with ten staff and stable systems may only want a project done properly once; another needs someone watching the patching every month.

Whichever you choose, the scope and the price are agreed in writing first, and the documentation is yours at the end of it.

Arrangements

  • Ad hoc. Called in for a specific fault or question, charged for the time it takes.
  • Project. A defined piece of work — a migration, a fit-out, a server retirement — quoted as one fixed scope.
  • Managed agreement. A monthly arrangement covering support, patching, monitoring and backup verification.
  • All arrangements begin with an audit, so nobody is quoting on assumptions.

Describe your setup

How many staff, what you run on, and the thing that keeps going wrong. That is enough for us to come back with a plan.
