Privacy Policy
How Anraed Pty Ltd collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Last updated 25 August 2026
01. Scope
This policy applies to Anraed Pty Ltd (ABN 88 700 017 081, ACN 700 017 081), referred to here as Anraed, we or us. It covers personal information we handle through this website, through email correspondence, and in the course of providing information technology services to our clients.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in Schedule 1 of that Act. Where we are engaged to work on a client's systems, we may handle personal information as a service provider on that client's behalf, and the client remains responsible for how that information was collected and what it is used for.
02. What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer an enquiry or deliver the work we have been engaged to do. Depending on your dealings with us, that may include:
- Your name, business name, role and email address
- Any phone number or address you choose to give us for a site visit
- The contents of your enquiry, including any description of your systems or fault
- Correspondence and file notes relating to work we have carried out
- Billing details such as the entity to invoice and its ABN
- Technical information about devices, networks and accounts we are engaged to support
We do not seek sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), such as health information or details of racial or ethnic origin. Please do not send it to us unless it is genuinely necessary for the work, in which case we will handle it under APP 3.
03. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you wherever it is reasonable and practicable to do so — when you email us, complete the enquiry form on the contact page, or speak with us about a piece of work.
The enquiry form on this site does not transmit anything to a server. It opens a message in your own email application, addressed to us, which you then choose to send. Until you send it, we have no record of it.
Where we are working on a client's systems, we may also come into contact with personal information about that client's own staff or customers. We treat that information as confidential and use it only as needed to perform the engagement.
04. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a scope or quotation
- Carry out and administer the services we have been engaged to provide
- Maintain documentation of your environment, such as asset registers and network diagrams
- Issue invoices and keep the financial records we are required by law to keep
- Contact you about work in progress, scheduled maintenance windows, or a fault affecting you
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
05. Disclosure
We disclose personal information only where it is necessary and permitted. That may include:
- Suppliers and vendors, where a device, licence or subscription must be ordered or registered in your name
- Our accountant and, where relevant, our insurer or legal advisers
- Software and infrastructure providers whose platforms we use to deliver support, such as remote-access and monitoring tools
- A law enforcement body, court or regulator, where disclosure is required or authorised by Australian law
We do not disclose your information to any other third party for that party's own purposes without your consent.
06. Overseas recipients
Some of the software platforms we rely on to deliver support are operated by providers based outside Australia, and information may be stored on servers located overseas — commonly in the United States or the European Union. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient we take reasonable steps, as required by APP 8, to satisfy ourselves that the recipient handles it in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
07. Cookies
This website does not set cookies, does not run analytics, and does not embed third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, social media widgets or externally hosted fonts. It is a set of static pages served with a single stylesheet.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs — such as IP addresses and requested pages — for the ordinary purposes of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
08. Security
We take reasonable steps, as required by APP 11, to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Those steps include restricting access to the people who need it, using multi-factor authentication on our own accounts, encrypting stored credentials, and keeping our systems patched.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Email in particular is not an encrypted channel, so please avoid sending passwords or other credentials to us by email — we will arrange a more suitable method.
09. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as we are required to keep it by law. In practice:
- Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer of any use
- Client records, engagement documentation and correspondence are kept for the duration of the relationship and for a period afterwards, to deal with any later questions or claims
- Financial records are retained for the period required under Australian taxation and corporations law
When information is no longer needed and we are not required to retain it, we destroy it or de-identify it in line with APP 11.2.
10. Access and correction
Under APP 12 and APP 13 you may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Send the request to ceo@anraedtec.site.
We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for making the request. If we refuse access or refuse to make a correction, we will tell you in writing why, and how you may complain about that decision.
11. Data breaches
If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or disclosure or loss of, personal information we hold, we will assess it promptly. Where the incident is an eligible data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
12. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information or breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please tell us first at ceo@anraedtec.site. Set out what happened and what outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge your complaint, investigate it, and give you a written response.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), which is the independent regulator for privacy in Australia. Contact details and the complaint process are published on the OAIC website.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting existing clients will be raised with them directly.
