How we work

Small enough to know your systems by name

Most small businesses do not need a service desk. They need someone who already knows how their office is wired.

One engineer, one environment

You deal with the same person each time, working from written documentation of your own network rather than starting from a fresh guess on every call.

Scoped before it is billed

Work is quoted in writing before it starts, with the scope, the exclusions and the price set out plainly. No open-ended hourly drift.

Close enough to turn up

Anraed is registered and based in Western Australia, so cabling, hardware swaps and anything else that needs hands on site stay practical.

Services

What we look after

Six areas of work, offered on an ad-hoc basis or bundled into a monthly managed agreement.

Managed IT support

Day-to-day help for staff, patching and update windows, and monitoring of the machines that keep your team working.

Networks and Wi-Fi

Cabling layout, switching, and access points positioned for real coverage across an office, workshop or warehouse floor.

Cloud and Microsoft 365

Mailbox and file migrations, shared document libraries, licence tidy-ups, and sensible sharing settings that staff can actually use.

Managed agreements

Documented, not improvised

An agreement means the boring work actually happens on a schedule: patches applied in a known window, backups checked rather than assumed, and licences reviewed before they renew.

Everything is written down — the network diagram, the asset list, the account inventory. If you ever move to another provider, you take that documentation with you.

Typically covered

  • Patch and update windows for Windows, macOS and common third-party applications
  • Endpoint protection deployed and monitored across every managed device
  • User accounts, mailboxes and licences created, changed and closed on request
  • Backup jobs verified, with periodic test restores rather than a green tick
  • Asset register and network documentation kept current and handed over on request
The sequence

How an engagement runs

Four stages, in order. We do not skip the first one, because most recurring faults are the result of something nobody wrote down.

  1. 01 / Audit

    Look at what exists

A walk-through of the devices, accounts, network gear and backups you already have, and who holds the passwords.

  2. 02 / Plan

    Agree the work

A short written plan separating what is urgent, what is worth doing, and what can safely be left alone. Priced before it starts.

  3. 03 / Implement

    Do it out of hours

Migrations, rebuilds and cabling scheduled around your trading hours so the disruption lands when the office is empty.

  4. 04 / Maintain

    Keep it that way

Ongoing patching, monitoring and account administration, with the documentation updated whenever something changes.
